Unidentified persons opened fire on an electrical transformer, in the village of Al-Iraq, Al-Mazar Brigade, in the Karak Governorate, causing it to malfunction.

According to the Electricity Distribution Company, the accident led to a power outage for about 350 subscribers, demanding that all necessary measures be taken to reveal the identity of the perpetrators, and to take deterrent legal measures against them.

She stressed that the repetition of these cases leads to the depletion of the company’s capabilities and exposes it to heavy losses, and such actions endanger the safety of citizens and company employees, and affect the quality of providing subscribers with electric current.
