The Customs Department confirmed through its media spokesperson that the customs cadres working at the Jaber Customs Center, in cooperation with the security services and the Drug Control Department, were able to thwart the smuggling of large quantities of Captagon narcotic pills, estimated at (2) million pills.

The media spokesman added that the contents were seized during the inspection of one of the trucks coming from a neighboring Arab country loaded with (household items) and was professionally hidden inside (rubber tyres).
Immediately, a report of fundamentalist seizure of contraband was organized and handed over to the Narcotics Control Department, and those involved were transferred to the competent judicial authorities.
