Bakirat continued, “The third goal that the occupation seeks to impose through these holidays is to convey the message that the holy city has become a property in its hands, and is no longer the capital of the Palestinian people, but rather a capital for the Jewish people… They make the city as a city of pilgrimage for the Jews, and they present the biblical narrative in all ways.
