The Council of Ministers decided in its session held today, Sunday, headed by Dr. Bishr Al-Khasawneh, to approve the appointment of a committee for the reconstruction of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and the honorable rock, headed by the Minister of Endowments, Affairs and Islamic Sanctuaries, and the membership of: The Director General of the Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem, Dr. Muhammad Azzam Al-Khatib Al-Tamimi ( Vice President), the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, Dr. Abdullah Al-Dajjah, His Eminence Sheikh Abdul Azim Salhab, the Executive Director of the Hashemite Fund for the Reconstruction of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Dr. Wasfi Al-Kilani, the Director-General of the Department of Palestinian Affairs, the Secretary-General of the Royal Committee for Jerusalem Affairs, and the Director of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and Affairs Directorate Jerusalem, Dr. Abdul Sattar Qudah.

The Council of Ministers also approved the renewal of the appointment of the following names to the Board of Commissioners of the Securities Commission: Dr. Laith Al-Ajlouni as Chairman, and the membership of Raeda Al-Naber, Firas Al-Adwan, and Dr. Abdul Raouf Al-Rababah, in addition to the appointment of Adel Sharaf Al-Din Bino as a new member of the Board.

Based on the results of the competitive competition conducted under the system of appointment to leadership positions; The Council of Ministers decided to appoint Mitri Fayez Madanat as Secretary General of the Economic and Social Council, and Fadi Abdullah Balawi as Director General of the Department of Antiquities, after they obtained the highest results among all applicants for the two positions.

The Council of Ministers also approved the continuation of the Jordan Cooperative Corporation to audit the accounts, data and financial records of the cooperative societies, and to consider their audit acceptable for the purposes of submitting it to the Income and Sales Tax Department for the year 2021 AD, and for one time only. , in a manner that achieves the goals and objectives of the Jordanian Cooperative Corporation, in coordination with the Ministry of Finance and the relevant authorities, and in accordance with the rules.
