In his fiftieth year, Nimr Abu Jalloud, 52, is lying between life and death in Salt Governmental Hospital, due to a medical error during his “hernia” operation, according to what his son Issa confirms to the Jordan News Online.
Regarding the details, Issa said that his father entered the operating room last Thursday to perform the operation, and hours after leaving it, one of the nurses came to give him an antibiotic needle, but the father told him that he was allergic to it and posed a threat to his life, and he also told him that two months ago he had received this The needle is in the same hospital and almost killed him as a result of the serious complications it inflicted on him.
But the nurse, according to what Issa confirms, insisted on giving his father the needle, and said that he would do a test for the needle, but the test is under the skin and not in a vein as the nurse did, which immediately led to the stopping of Issa’s father’s heart and the exit of “froth” from his mouth, and his entry into a poor health condition. To the intensive care room until now, after receiving electric shocks.
Issa indicated that his father did not suffer from any diseases before entering the hospital for the operation, calling for an independent investigation into the circumstances of what happened with him, noting that the nurse had been absent from work since giving the needle last Thursday.

It is noteworthy that the file of medical errors in hospitals, has come back strongly to the fore in the recent period, after a medical error claimed the life of the child, Lynn Abu Hatab, in Al-Bashir Hospital, in addition to many other similar cases.
