A member of the Royal Committee for the Modernization of the Political System, former Captain of Engineers, Wael El-Sakka, revealed that “not to combine the prosecution and the ministry” is the most prominent of the recommendations approved by the committee regarding the constitutional amendments.
And he added, in his speech to Al-Mamlaka channel this evening, Sunday, that among the qualifiers was also “if confidence is withdrawn from the government, it is not permissible to re-assign its president again.”
Al-Saqa pointed out that the Independent Election Commission, according to these amendments, became the reference for the parties instead of the Ministry of Political Affairs.
He pointed out that the committee took a percentage of each electoral district and transferred it to the parties.
