Today, Saturday, 428 new cases of the new Corona virus were recorded in the Kingdom, bringing the total number of infections recorded in the Kingdom since the beginning of the pandemic to 812,681 cases, of which 12,441 are active cases, according to the daily media summary issued by the Ministry of Health.

The injuries were distributed as 207 cases in the capital Amman, 38 cases in Zarqa Governorate, 44 cases in Irbid, 13 cases in Karak Governorate, 26 cases were recorded in Ajloun, 9 cases in Mafraq, 2 cases in Jerash, 9 cases in Balqa, and 25 cases in Aqaba Governorate, 7 cases in Madaba, 26 cases in Tafileh Governorate, 12 cases in Ma’an Governorate, 1 case in Ramtha, and 9 cases in Petra Province.

Today, 12 deaths affected by the virus were recorded in the Kingdom, bringing the total number of deaths affected by the virus in the Kingdom to 10,606 cases, according to the media summary.

On the other hand, the number of recovery cases for today reached 1,048, while the total expected recovery cases (after the 14-day isolation period) reached 789,634 cases, and the number of hospital discharges for this day reached 35 cases.

With regard to the number of hospital admissions for today, it reached 57, while the number of confirmed cases receiving treatment in hospitals reached 515.

According to the media summary, the percentage of positive tests for this day amounted to 2.57% of the total number of 16,640 examinations for today, bringing the total laboratory tests in the Kingdom to 9,748,163 examinations since the start of the pandemic.
