Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Administration Tawfiq Krishan said, on Saturday, that the government decided to install the actual national workers in the field in all municipalities.

This came during his launch of a comprehensive and continuous national campaign for public hygiene in all governorates in Jordan under the slogan “With Our Hands.”

Krishan launched the campaign, which comes in coordination with the various municipalities of the Kingdom, at ten o’clock on Saturday morning from the Hasban Forest in the Naour District.

The campaign aims to strengthen the partnership between the various official bodies, civil society institutions, the youth, women and popular sectors, and local communities with municipalities, to jointly contribute to the provision of a healthy and sound environment for the citizen and the continuous maintenance of cleanliness.

The campaign aims to enrich the values ​​of active citizenship and the spirit of teamwork, participatory and cooperation, and to deepen the concept of “volunteering” in public work, which is directly and indirectly reflected on the Jordanian citizen and on the guests and visitors of the Kingdom, and contributes to involving everyone in the protection of environmental resources, national natural resources, forests, parks and public gardens Preserving it from pollution, attrition and tampering, especially related to our daily life and tourism, archaeological, heritage, development, investment, agricultural, health and other sectors.

The Ministry of Local Administration and Municipalities, the Joint Services Councils, and the Municipal Affairs Directorates in the various governorates of the Kingdom have drawn up plans and programs, and harnessed all their energies and capabilities to make the campaign a success.
