A new medical error occurred at Al-Bashir Governmental Hospital, which may end Gouri’s childhood by amputating her foot, after a continuous series of consecutive medical errors that claimed the lives of two girls recently, and others in the past.

The parents of the girl, Gouri, who was the victim of medical errors at Al-Bashir Governmental Hospital, said that she had a bicycle fall on September 15, after which she was transferred to Al-Bashir Hospital.

The girl’s parents added that the doctors were content at that time to clean the wound and stop the bleeding, then wrapped the foot with a cast without treating the wound, but after two days and with the child’s pain increasing, it was found that her foot had been infected with mold, during the examination of her foot by a private doctor.

The girl’s parents indicated that she is at risk of amputation of the foot due to the wrong treatment and her infection with rot.

A few days ago, the death of the child, Lynn Abu Hatab, 5, at Al-Bashir Governmental Hospital, sparked widespread sadness and anger among those who dealt with the incident on social media platforms, with calls for an impartial investigation, after she died after the appendix exploded inside her body, which caused It led to blood poisoning and her death.

The Minister of Health, Dr. Firas Al-Hawari, formed an impartial investigation committee into the incident, consisting of surgeons at the Hashemite University, while the team recommended that the file be referred to the Public Prosecutor.

After the death of the child, Lynn Abu Hatab, as a result of the appendix explosion, in Al-Bashir Hospital and the formation of a committee to investigate the incident, Princess Rahma Hospital in the city of Irbid also set up a similar investigation committee, to investigate the death of the five-year-old girl, “Ghina,” after the appendix exploded.
