The Executive Office of the Islamic Action Front Party said that it had followed up with great sadness and sorrow the news of the death of a girl in Al-Bashir Hospital as a result of a medical error, and the news of the death of another girl in a hospital in Irbid as a result of a similar medical error.

The party added in a press statement that these medical errors reflect the exacerbation of the decline in the health sector as a result of the failure of successive governments to advance the sector.

He called on the government to hold those involved in the negligence accountable in both cases, calling on the Minister of Health to assume his responsibilities towards this failure and take the necessary measures to ensure that it does not recur.

The party followed up with great sadness and sorrow the news of the death of a five-year-old girl in Al-Bashir Hospital as a result of a medical error, and the subsequent news of the death of another girl in a hospital in Irbid Governorate as a result of a similar medical error, which reflects the worsening state of decline in the health sector. As a result of the failure of successive governments to advance this sector, which pays its cost to the country and the citizen

While the party extends its condolences to the families of the two girls, it calls on the government to hold accountable those involved in the negligence and negligence that took place in both incidents, and to refer them to the judiciary. The price was paid by the citizens who are looking for the safe treatment guaranteed to them by the constitution, which would harm the image of Jordan, which for decades has been at the forefront of the countries in the region in terms of the development of its health system.

In this regard, the party wonders about the reasons for not activating the Medical Accountability Law by the Ministry of Health, which was approved in 2018, and the continuing deterioration in many government hospitals and the weakness of the health sector system, which brings to mind the painful accidents that Jordanians experienced during the last period, This confirms the failure of the government’s approach to deporting crises instead of addressing them radically, which requires the development of a comprehensive national vision on which a selection of Jordanian competencies are based in various political, economic and health fields to overcome this ordeal and reach Jordan to safety.
