A security source in Al-Balqa Police Directorate confirmed this Friday morning that a fire broke out in Al-Salt Governmental Hospital, but no injuries or major damage were recorded.

According to a medical source in the hospital, the first cause of this fire, which broke out in the area of ​​warm water heaters and heating, was an electrical short.

The same medical source confirmed that it was controlled within minutes, through the hospital’s fire extinguishing system and civil defense cadres, pointing out that the fire had no effect on patients, medical devices or oxygen tanks, as it occurred on the seventh floor underground.
