The chief infectious disease expert in the United States, Anthony Fauci, warned of a “savage mutated” of the Corona virus, which may begin to spread in the future, with frightening speed.

Speaking to MSNBC, Fauci noted that “the new mutant may make the delta mutant look weak in comparison.”

“As the coronavirus spreads further in the community, we will get enough new mutations to make a completely different mutation from the ones we see now,” Fauci explained.

Fauci stressed, “This is why vaccination is so important, as the “Corona” vaccines will help stop the spread of the new mutant and eliminate potentially dangerous variants.”

And in August, several scientists told Newsweek that there is a “hellish mutant of the Corona virus” that could be worse than the delta mutant, which is currently the most dangerous because of its rapid spread.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if another mutant appears that is more transmissible from Delta,” said Eric Fell, director of molecular pathology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
