A royal decree was issued approving Judicial Council Resolution No. 222 of 2021, which includes the appointment of graduates of the Judicial Institute Diploma Program, the twentieth regiment, as graduated judges in the seventh degree, as of the first of next October.
The General Secretariat of the Judicial Council said, in a statement today, Thursday, that the Judicial Independence Law No. 29 of 2014, like other Arab and regional legislation, adopted the idea of ​​an internship judge, which began to be applied since 2012, as the internship period is devoted to enhancing the capabilities and practical skills of newly appointed judges before they take over. Judgment platform by attaching them to judicial bodies.
She indicated that during this period of internship, they are assigned to attend court sessions, study case files, and prepare drafts of preparatory decisions and final judgments, which gives them practical experience before assuming judicial duties.
She pointed to the appointment of more than 200 graduated judges since the implementation of these texts in 2012.
