Health sector cadres pledge to improve the quality of services provided

Today, Thursday, in conjunction with the International Day for Patient Safety, the Ministry of Health, through the Directorate of Institutional Development and Quality Control, implemented health initiatives, within the Change Day initiative, which comes this year under the slogan “For your safety and my safety… Let’s change”, with the aim of motivating workers to improve the quality of services provided. Under the title “Eighth Change Day”.
The Ministry called on administrators and service providers to make pledges that would contribute to improving the quality of health services and patient safety, by entering the main page of the Health Institutions Accreditation Council, entering the “Change Day” portal, and filling out the pledge form for individuals or institutions.
The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Health for Technical and Administrative Affairs, Dr. Elham Khreisat, met with a number of the ministry’s central directors at the ministry’s runway, stressing the need to strive to bring about positive change among all cadres working in the ministry, and through their managers. In turn, the Secretary-General for Epidemiological Affairs, Dr. Adel Al-Balbisi, urged citizens to receive vaccinations, in order to be immunized against the epidemic, and to continue with preventive measures.
For her part, the Director of the Reliability Foundation for Health Institutions, Salma Al-Jaouni, praised the success of the eighth change day at the level of the Kingdom, with the participation of various institutions, and its implementation on the ground carefully, to ensure the safety of the application and implementation of the health service provided to citizens.
The activities of the eighth change day in the Ministry included success stories in cooperation with the local community and government schools, a blood donation campaign, laboratory tests in cooperation with Medlab Company, an awareness lecture on drugs in cooperation with the Public Security Directorate / Media Department and Community Police, a lecture on high blood lipids, and a lecture About a third dose fortified vaccine for Corona in cooperation with Orange, a sports activity and a pledge to maintain safety procedures, in addition to providing awareness of the importance of early detection of diabetes, and distribution of in-kind gifts, sterilizers, and awareness brochures.
