HRH Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, received at Al Husseiniya Palace today, Monday, the Olympic and Paralympic delegations, after their participation in the Olympic and Paralympic Games, in the presence of HRH Princes Faisal bin Al Hussein, President of the Jordan Olympic Committee, and Marad bin Raad, President of the Supreme Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities disability.

His Highness the Crown Prince expressed his pride in the achievements made during the Olympic and Paralympic Games hosted by the Japanese capital, Tokyo, and the success of the male and female players in raising the Jordanian flag through the medals they achieved with this participation.

In turn, the champions and champions of the Olympic and Paralympic missions expressed their happiness at meeting His Highness, the Crown Prince, and affirmed their constant endeavor to achieve achievements and raise the Jordanian flag in various tournaments and forums.

The Olympic mission had achieved two medals during the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, represented by a silver medal for the national taekwondo team player, Saleh Al-Sharbati, and a bronze by the player of the national karate team, Abdul Rahman Al-Masatafa.

While the Paralympic mission was crowned with 5 medals, including 4 gold and one bronze in Paralympic Tokyo 2020, the four gold medals came through, Omar Qaradah, Abdul Karim Khattab and Jamil Al-Shibli in weightlifting, and another gold medal through the shot put player, Ahmed Al Hindi, and bronze achieved by the player Khatam Abu Awad in table tennis.
