Dr. Mikhail Ginsburg has listed the products that seniors should turn to.
After 60 years, the intake of sugar should be reduced, here we are talking about products such as jams, sweets and honey.
And some familiar products need to be replaced by analogues that are more useful for the elderly. Therefore, red meat should be replaced with fish or poultry, and a little sunflower and olives.
In addition, the expert recommends not eating foods with a high glycemic index.
These include products made from sifted white flour, and white bread, as there is practically no dietary fiber in them. Also include potatoes and rice porridge, the doctor says.
