“Sulh Oman” hears the prosecution’s penultimate witness in the Salt Hospital case

The Amman Criminal Court heard a new witness presented by the Public Prosecution in the case of oxygen depletion from Al-Hussein Governmental Hospital in Salt, bringing the number of witnesses heard so far to 65, and one witness is expected to be heard by the court in its next session.

Today, Sunday, the court held its 30th public session, headed by Judge Dr. Uday Al-Fraihat, and heard the testimony of a member of the Civil Defense Directorate in the case as an expert, bringing the number of experts who have been heard so far to 13. Next Thursday, the court is expected to conclude its hearing of the 66 witnesses of the Public Prosecution, and then begin with the evidence of the defense attorneys.

The tanks of Al Hussein Governmental Hospital, or what is known as Salt Hospital, ran out of oxygen in mid-March and caused the death of 10 Jordanians. The Public Prosecution moved to investigate the case and arrested 13 people, including officials in the Ministry of Health, and charged them with causing the death, repeated 10 times.
