Today, Saturday, the Administrative Court of the State Council in Egypt decided to postpone the consideration of a lawsuit filed by two lawyers demanding the ban on the application of “Tik Tok” in the country.
The lawsuit, filed by lawyers Walid Al-Tamimi and Hamido Jamil, said that “Tik Tok” promotes clips of “nudity, pornography, bullying, violence and bullying in society, and has even become an outlet for drug and currency trade,” which negatively affects society, especially children and youth.
The lawsuit demanded that Google and Apple delete the application from their stores in Egypt, with the consequences of that, including blocking all websites and electronic links that display the application’s ads.
She added that “many girls resorted to nudity and filmed videos of them inciting immorality, to achieve the largest percentage of spread and fame on social media platforms.”
This is not the only lawsuit in the country that calls for banning the application, as there was a lawsuit filed by lawyer Samir Sabry against the Prime Minister and the Ministers of Information and Communications, demanding the closure of Tik Tok sites.
