On Sunday, the Ministry of Local Administration announced the start of installing the workers of the homeland who are actually working as homeland workers in the field and who meet all the announced conditions.

The ministry said in a statement, that the decision came with the vigorous follow-up of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Administration Tawfiq Krishan, based on the approval of the Council of Ministers in its session held on July 28, to install Jordanian workers working in municipalities, and joint services councils, who work in the system. Day laborers and actually working as homeland workers in the field.

The ministry added that the decision aims to motivate Jordanian youth to engage in the profession of homeland worker by securing a decent life for the workers of the homeland, stressing the permanent and continuous endeavor of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Administration and his supportive stance to install the homeland workers during his continuous field tours to see their conditions, which culminated in the confirmation of the first batch today.

And she indicated that during the coming period, all those who comply with the conditions will be confirmed based on the circular of the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Local Administration to the heads of the committees, which provides for the confirmation of Jordanian workers working in municipalities, and joint services councils, working in the day-to-day system and actually working as homeland workers in the field who were employed before The date of December 31, 2020 on the jobs of the third category on the formation schedules for each municipality, and the joint services councils, provided that the worker is not assigned to other work.

The ministry called on the municipalities that did not provide the ministry with the statements signed by the approved committee for those actually working in the field to send them to be able to complete the procedures for their confirmation.
