An official source in the Giza District Administration – south of the Capital Governorate confirmed the death of a 16-year-old boy this afternoon, Sunday.

The source attributed the cause of death to the boy falling into a pool dedicated to “purifying” water in the district.

He pointed out that the boy was taken to the Nadeem Governmental Hospital in Madaba by the Civil Defense, but he arrived dead, noting that the security services decided to open an investigation into the incident.
