The Director of the Anti-Narcotics Department at the Public Security Directorate, Colonel Hassan Al-Qudah, confirmed that drug abuse cases decreased by 7% as a result of the security campaigns, which led to the arrest of a large number of promoters and dealers, revealing that 13,000 drug cases were seized, including 3260 cases of trafficking.

In his speech within the country’s Pulse program, he noted that 14,932 drug users and 4,835 dealers have been arrested since the beginning of last year until September 5, compared to 12,919 abusers and 6,235 dealers during the same period this year.
