The application of short tweets “Twitter” allowed its users to pay in its various services via cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin.

A report published on the specialized technical website Engadget indicated that payment using “Bitcoin” will be available through a new service launched by the “Twitter” application, called “Tip for.”

The new technology allows Twitter users to send each other money for tweets or services they like.

It is noteworthy that the CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey, one of the main proponents of the bitcoin, had expressed his hope in July that the digital currency would bring world peace, and its use would become common and allowed for all.

Last June, Twitter chief Jack Dorsey announced that his company, Square, which specializes in digital payments, plans to launch a “wallet” for “Bitcoin”.

It is similar to a USB data carrier that allows cryptocurrency to be stored in a non-virtual and secure manner.

These blocks allow digital currencies to be stored outside the electronic framework, and users can also sync them with their financial applications if they perform online transactions.

Also, customers can be satisfied with owning a “virtual” wallet, in which case they have trusted third-party companies to protect their money and use key words to access it.

But Jack Dorsey considers that dealing with “Bitcoin” should not be limited to those who know this field, and he seeks ways to enhance confidence in cryptocurrencies, especially by suggesting a way to buy them without having to rely on third parties.

On Twitter, Dorsey noted that people storing their existing Bitcoin is a “complex matter,” with multiple issues to be solved, namely “readiness, security, ease of use on mobile devices, and more.”

And he announced his intention to launch a “wallet” that can be used to pay purchases through a smartphone, for example, without compromising their money or the cryptocurrency system in general.

“If we do that, it happens in a completely transparent way from software to device, in collaboration with the community,” Dorsey added.

“We can imagine apps running without Square and possibly without Apple and Google’s permission,” he said, referring to the world’s two dominant mobile operating systems.
