The general price index of shares listed on the Amman Stock Exchange increased by 2.18 percent, to end the week’s trading at the level of 2071 points.
The daily average trading volume on the Amman Stock Exchange during the past week amounted to about 8.9 million dinars, compared to 4.7 million dinars in the previous week, an increase of 89 percent, while the total weekly trading volume amounted to about 44.3 million dinars, compared with 23.4 million dinars for the previous week.
As for the number of traded shares recorded by the stock exchange during the past week, it amounted to 30 million shares, executed through 18,451 transactions.
