With the decision of the Minister of Youth, Muhammad Al-Nabulsi, today, Thursday, to form a temporary administrative body for Al-Faisaly Club, headed by Dr. Salem Abu Qaoud, the club’s fans have raised questions about who is the “interim” president of their club, especially since he is far from the football center.

First, Dr. Abu Qaoud, holds a bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate in law, and was one of the first founding employees of the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission in 2008. He is an investigator who has previously participated in dozens of specialized courses in investigation work related to the nature of the oversight work of the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission, money laundering and anti-evasion Tax, economic crimes, evidence collection, investigations, and anti-fraud. He was director and supervisor of the administrative organization’s work to integrate the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission and the Board of Grievances. During his tenure in the commission, he held several positions, including:

• chief auditor
• Principal Investigator
• Director of the Department of Administrative Affairs and Institutional Development
• Director of the Ombudsman
• Chairman of the Bidding Committee
• Head of the investigation team for the State Audit Bureau’s reports
• Chairman of the Committee to Study Grievances and Complaints
• Capacity Program Manager
• Director of the Justice, Equality and Equal Opportunity Project
• Chairman of the committee to propose instructions for maintaining confidentiality and documentation guide
• Consultant at the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission
• Responsible for the work of the officers of the Authority at the General Administration
• Representative of the Authority to the Ministry of Public Works, Government Bidding Department, General Customs Department
• He was appointed as an advisor to the Minister of Youth for Oversight Affairs in 2020 and is currently heading the Audit Bureau’s Clarification Committee and the Employee Grievance Committee at the Ministry of Youth
