A security source in the South Amman Police Directorate confirmed that a vehicle without number plates, in which more than one person was present, chased today, Thursday, another young man’s vehicle in the Yadoudeh area – Qweismeh Brigade.

The source added that after an attempt to deliberately hit the vehicle “without the plates”, those in it fired a series of shots at the young man’s vehicle, as a result of which he was hit by five bullets in the head and chest areas. He was subsequently taken to the hospital for treatment.

In the same context, a medical source confirmed that the young man’s condition is very serious.

According to information obtained by Akhbar Al-Jordan electronic newspaper, the young man who was attacked and injured is from Irbid, and works in a pharmaceutical factory in Amman.

The same security source confirmed that the security services have opened a wide investigation into the incident.
