The Governor of Ajloun, Chairman of the Public Health and Safety Committee, Salman Al-Najada, stressed the need to activate plans, identify hot spots, and work to conduct intensive patrols; To reduce summer fires, he stressed that violators or those who cause fires will not be tolerated.

Al-Najada pointed out, during the meeting held today, Saturday, at the governorate building, with representatives of the relevant departments, institutions and municipalities, the importance of intensifying efforts by all concerned parties in order to protect forest wealth and forests from attacks.

He pointed out that the fires that a number of countries have experienced require taking the necessary measures to preserve forest wealth, enhance the presence of mechanisms and extinguishers, and remove all causes that may lead to the ignition of fires. Including the removal of dry weeds, stressing that violators or those who cause fires will not be tolerated.

In turn, a number of representatives of the concerned departments confirmed their readiness to deal with any emergency, open roads as fire lines to facilitate the work of civil defense, activate the role of watchtowers, intensify tours of “drones” to monitor forests, introduce a monitoring system by fixed cameras, and allow sheep to graze inside the forests to eliminate Dry weeds, and intensify rafting tours during public holidays to monitor visitors and hikers.
