Ennahda spokesman, Fathi Ayadi, called on the Tunisian public prosecutor to investigate the “planning to assassinate” President Kais Saied.

In statements to Mosaique Radio, today, Saturday, Al-Ayadi said that the movement is preoccupied with what was stated by the President of the Republic, Kais Saied, about conspiracies and planning to assassinate him, and calls on the Public Prosecution to investigate the matter and enlighten public opinion, given that it is files targeting the security of the country and the security of the President of the Republic.

Commenting on Saied’s statement about his recognition of the so-called “road map”, the Ennahda spokesman stressed that the long-standing Tunisian state dictates its conduct according to a work destination and a vision for the future, considering that without a road map and without dialogue, Tunisia cannot be in a better situation.

He added that the road map should stipulate the lifting of exceptional measures, the return of parliament, the formation of a government, and “why not early legislative elections”, as he put it.
