Today, Saturday, the Al-Faisaly club’s board of directors decided to appoint the Syrian coach, Muhammad Aqil, as the club’s coach, after the resignation of the Iraqi coach, Hakim Shaker.

It is reported that Aqeel was an assistant to the former Syrian technical director of Al-Faisaly Club, Hossam Al-Sayed.

Al-Sayed remained in Jordan to attend a training course, according to what was previously announced when he rejected a Syrian offer.

Hatem Akl will remain assistant coach.

The club said in a brief statement, via social media, that the club’s board of directors decided to appoint Syrian coach Muhammad Aqeel as technical director, assisted by Captain Hatem Akel, and the guards coach is Ahmed Abu Nasouh, and the fitness coach is Hisham Kardaghli.

The club had announced earlier today, the resignation of its Iraqi coach, Hakim Shaker, due to “special circumstances”.

The club said that the board of directors agreed to accept the resignation of the technical staff led by Captain Hakim Shaker; Because of his own circumstances in his country.

He indicated that the board of directors tried to dissuade the technical director from resigning, but he insisted on it; due to his circumstances.

The coach, Hakim Shaker, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the club’s fans, players and the board of directors for the warm reception and good treatment, expressing his wishes for them success during the next stage.
