The seismological observatory records a 3.3-magnitude earthquake in the Mediterranean

Today, Friday, the Seismological Observatory / Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources recorded an earthquake measuring 3.3 on the Richter scale, which struck the eastern Mediterranean at 6.28 pm local time.

According to observatory data, the tremor occurred in the eastern Mediterranean, 70 km southwest of Beirut, at a depth of 20 km.

The Jordanian Seismological Observatory, with its main center in the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, is one of the regional and global observatories, and it monitors seismic activity inside and outside the Kingdom’s borders.
