Mazhar Al-Awad, the son of the late international player and coach of Al-Faisaly, Ratib Al-Awad, criticized the management of Al-Faisaly Club for not paying his father’s financial dues.
Mazhar published, on his personal Facebook page, a picture of his father on which he wrote the Quranic verse (Those who unjustly eat orphans’ money eat fire in their stomachs, and they will pray a blaze).
The post also included another picture of his father, Ratib Al-Awad, on which he wrote, “Managing orphans’ money… How does our Lord want them to succeed.”
For its part, the management of Al-Faisaly Club did not issue any statement or response to clarify the fate of the financial dues to the late Al-Awad.
The late Al-Awadt had revealed, months before his death, that he had financial dues in the amount of tens of thousands of dinars due to the Al-Faisali administration, which, at that time, would pay them to him.
