Last Thursday, the Civil Service Bureau announced the stagnant specializations that will be suspended, and the required and unrequired (saturated and stagnant) specializations in their detailed form at the level of governorates and valleys for the year 2021.

A few days ago, the results of the high school “Tawjihi” appeared, and regarding the specializations that students should choose, the President of the Civil Service Bureau, Sameh Al-Nasser, advised them “not to go towards stagnant majors,” explaining that there are 40 stagnant university majors.

Addressing the Tawjihi students, Al-Nasser added that even if you do not get the specialization you want, it is not supposed to go to the stagnant specialization in any way.

Al-Nasser explained that as of 2020, the civil service system obligated the bureau not to receive applications for employment in stagnant disciplines, including philosophy, political science, and educational professions.
