Pope Francis received dozens of soccer jerseys and balls during his eight-year tenure, but he got a new game on Wednesday, his own table soccer game.

Francis played a round at the table presented to him at the end of his sermon to the audience, by representatives of the Table Football Association in Altopasio, Tuscany.

And the mayor of Altopasio, Sarah D’Ambrosio, wrote on Facebook that the table was designed to be played well by people with physical disabilities to encourage their participation in the sport.
