The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Center for Human Rights, Rahil Gharaibeh, said that most of the participants in the process of drafting the reform project came through the equation of paralysis, friendship, personal knowledge and coincidence in finding the filling of the quota vacuum.

He added, on his personal Facebook page, that the problem emerged clearly and manifested itself like the sun on Rabaa Al-Nahar by standing on the dispute between the members of the committee, and by listening to the opinions of the new aspirants.

According to what Gharaibeh, the General Secretary of the National Congress Party (Zamzam), wrote, “They view the party way with suspicion, accusation and hostility; They are not partisan to begin with and are not involved in real party life, adding that they are not able to form new parties in the future, and they are aware of the difficulty of that.

He explained that they look at the upcoming political reform process by looking at their personal positions in any upcoming project, and therefore the upcoming reform project is being circumvented in several smart ways.

And he indicated that there is a group that relies on the argument that the provinces’ shares and the tribes’ share are acquired under many different arguments and intimidation from the opposition voices in this context, and they want not to change the previous equation, but rather to make some frills that do not constitute any significant change.

Gharaibeh also mentioned in the same publication that there is another group that is trying hard to play the role of the youth, change the traditional political elite and the old guard, and create a fictitious youth current in line with the upcoming new era, and creates an impression towards a formal change that carries a great deal of neglect.

He added that both groups have nothing to do with reform, neither from near nor from afar, and reform does not constitute a goal, purpose, or life philosophy for them, but it is nothing more than a fruit and adornment on some dialogue tables.

He noted that any person who speaks outside theorizing about the image of Jordan, the modern democratic state according to the true constitutional monarchy, is outside of time, and they do not come out of the framework of their stunted selves that see politics only through the theory of subjugating peoples to the size of the leaders’ shoes.
