Today, Thursday, 5 civilians, including 3 children, were killed, as a result of the bombing of the Syrian regime forces on Jabal Al-Zawiya in Idlib countryside.

The reporter explained that the bombing targeted the village of Mashoun and led to the destruction and damage of some houses in the village.

Relief teams in the areas under the control of the Syrian opposition had counted the deaths of 65 civilians, including 29 children, as a result of shelling by the regime and Russian forces on areas in northwestern Syria since the beginning of last June.

For its part, local Syrian sources told Al-Jazeera that a group of regime forces, including an officer, were killed in the western countryside of Daraa, southern Syria, as a result of targeting their car with an explosive device.

The sources added that the regime forces bombed with mortars and tanks the besieged neighborhoods of Daraa al-Balad, Al-Sad Road and Daraa camp.

The same sources indicated that demonstrations took place last night in the cities and towns of the western and northern countryside of Daraa to demand an end to the siege of Daraa al-Balad and the cessation of the military campaign launched by the regime forces backed by militias loyal to Iran, as well as the siege imposed on them about two months ago in an attempt to impose military control on the besieged neighborhoods.
