Hebrew media: Israeli drones to protect UAE oil fields

The Hebrew media revealed that the United Arab Emirates used Israeli drones to monitor and protect the UAE oil fields and other institutions.

According to what was reported by the Israeli “i24” website, “the drones operate at all hours of the day, in conditions of extreme heat, and scan large areas steadily and without the need for human intervention.”

He stated that “the planes take off from the docking stations assigned to them, carry out inspections and return independently to be recharged, and they are equipped with a daily and night imaging system, and they use decryption capabilities and artificial intelligence to monitor operational and security malfunctions.”

The Israeli company was founded in 2014, and according to Globes, it is considered one of the top ten drone companies in the world, with 120 employees in Israel, and in a show and innovation center in Texas and Australia, and since its establishment, it has raised more than 72 million dollars.

One of the founders and one of the owners of the company, Ariel Abitan, explained that “the initial relations with the Emiratis were established about a year ago, and as soon as the “Ibrahim agreements” (normalization) were signed, the matter began to be verified,” revealing that before the normalization “there was a common interest during exhibitions and meetings, but It was not possible to establish a real working relationship, in the absence of relations between Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi.”

Abitan stated, “By working with oil and energy companies in the UAE, who face great challenges in maintaining and securing vast oil pipelines and sites, there is the possibility of reaching tens of millions of dollars.”

The newspaper revealed that the Israeli company obtained the approval of the American Aviation Authority, to operate remotely when there is no eye contact between the operator and the march (BVLOS), after they were subjected to the strict tests of the authority.

And she noted that “the company works with major energy, infrastructure and communication companies in the world, including the Florida Electricity Company, the United States Fuel, the Verizon Communications Company, the Rio Tinto Mining Company, and the Dead Sea Factories in Israel.”

Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv, with the blessing of former US President Donald Trump, announced on Thursday, August 13, 2020, in an official statement, that an “Israeli-Emirati (normalization) peace agreement” had been reached, the culmination of close secret relations that spanned over the previous years.

Subsequently, the Kingdom of Bahrain announced the normalization of its relations with the occupation on September 11, 2020, and Sudan announced the normalization of its relations with the occupation on Friday evening, October 23, and on December 10, 2020, it announced normalization between Morocco and the occupation.

Those countries’ announcement of normalization with Tel Aviv and the signing of agreements in the White House with the occupation under the auspices of Washington, caused a state of popular, official and Palestinian anger, and the forces, factions and authority condemned this step, and the Palestinian leadership considered the normalization agreements with the occupation, a betrayal of Jerusalem, Al-Aqsa and the Palestinian cause.
