The Minister of Education, Dr. Muhammad Abu Qadees, affirmed that the results of the high school diploma and the success rates at the level of all branches are among the best ratios compared to previous years, noting that the success rates follow the natural curve of the marks.
He said during his hosting on the “Pulse of the Country” program, which is broadcast on Roya, that the distribution of marks is a normal distribution, indicating that this is a good indication of the results.
He added that there are some treatments that take place in all exams around the world, and accordingly it was decided to conduct some treatments that took place in the exams, as these treatments came due to the difficulty of some questions in the exams, hinting that some grades were increased for some students who needed one grade to pass the high school exam.
He stressed that he was satisfied with the results of the high school exams, stressing that the success rates in chemistry and physics are the same as in previous years.
Abu Qadis stated that any development process for the Tawjihi exam will need time, expecting that there will be a development on the Tawjihi program in the year 2022-2023, stressing that the development of the exam will be supervised by a committee of academics, specialists and the Education Council.
