Two young men were shot, and dozens of people suffocated with tear gas, today, Friday, during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces in Jabal Sabih in the town of Beita, south of Nablus.
The director of ambulance and emergency at the Palestinian Red Crescent in Nablus, Ahmed Jibril, stated that a young man was shot with live bullets in the Qadam area, while journalist Naseem Maalla was wounded with rubber-coated metal bullets in the knee area, and 17 others were injured by suffocation with tear gas.
The town of Beita has witnessed daily confrontations since May, as part of protest activities against the establishment of the “Givat Avitar” settlement outpost on the top of Mount Sabih.
