Two days after MP Imad Al-Adwan prevented Prime Minister Bishr Al-Khasawneh from sitting on his seat under the dome in an incident that is the first of its kind.
Representative Imad Adwan revealed the role played by the council and said: “Our role is exercised through ink on paper, and the government has not paid any attention to it one day.”
He made it clear that through the memoranda and the interventions under the dome, I tried to exercise my powers as a representative of the people, but there is no life for whomever you call.
Regarding the government’s response to those memos, MP Al-Adwan said, “The government was answering me. You say, shout and write, and we do what we want.”
The aggression also showed that he was frustrated when he heard and saw the unjust government decisions against the Jordanian people.
Last Wednesday, MP Al-Adwan prevented Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh from sitting on his seat under the dome. Al-Adwan said, “He protested in this way against the backdrop of the government’s decisions to raise prices, the latest of which is fuel.”
Al-Khasawneh replied, “You don’t want to talk to me in this way, neither you nor anyone else… and the people are on top of me from above.”
