The general price index of shares listed on the Amman Stock Exchange decreased by 2.45 percent, to end the week’s trading at the level of 2036 points.

The daily average trading volume on the Amman Stock Exchange during the past week amounted to about 6.8 million dinars, compared to 7.7 million dinars the previous week, a decrease of 11.6 percent.

The total weekly trading volume amounted to about 34 million dinars, compared to 38.4 million dinars for the previous week.

As for the number of traded shares recorded by the stock exchange during the past week, it amounted to 27.5 million shares, executed through 12,824 transactions.
