On Friday, the Israeli occupation army bombed the Kafr Shuba and Hebariyeh hills in southern Lebanon.

According to the Anatolia correspondent, the Israeli air force flew intensively in the Shebaa area in southern Lebanon, while the artillery of the occupation army bombed the hills of the Kafr Shuba and Al-Habariya areas.

He stated that the bombing caused fires in the targeted locations, with no reports of injuries until 11:15 GMT.

For its part, the Israeli army said, in a brief statement, that it had begun bombing sites in Lebanon, without additional details.

Earlier Friday, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for firing rockets into Israel.

He said in a statement received by Anadolu Agency: “Open lands were bombed in the vicinity of the Israeli occupation sites in the Shebaa Farms, with dozens of 122mm rockets.”

On the other hand, the Israeli army spokesman, Avichai Adraee, stated that “Hezbollah fired 19 rockets this afternoon from the north of Shebaa, 3 of which fell inside Lebanon, 10 shells were intercepted, while 6 of them landed in open areas without causing any injuries or damage.”

In later statements, Adraee considered that “Hezbollah” deliberately fired rockets at open areas.

He said, via Twitter, “Hezbollah deliberately fired rockets towards open areas… what does this mean about its condition?”

He added that the party “tried to close previous files through this process, which it has not been able to respond to so far,” without clarifying their nature.
