Al-Nasser added during the meeting, which was held in the presence of media representatives and the Acting Secretary General of the Diwan, Eng. Mubarak Al-Khalayleh, that the study coincides with the imminent announcement of the results of high school and students’ preparations to move to another stage of their scientific and practical life, explaining that the culture of society is moving towards stagnant and saturated academic and humanitarian disciplines. Which constitutes 70 percent of the Diwan’s stock, while job opportunities are available in technical, professional and craft disciplines.

He stressed the importance of the indicators and recommendations contained in the data of studying the reality of supply and demand for various disciplines for the purposes of guiding and educating students on study seats (universities, colleges and schools), especially high school graduates and their families, and educational policy-makers and decision-makers in the disciplines that can be considered required for the local labor market and its needs, and others that are saturated or stagnant, from which thousands of graduates flow annually without a need for them in the public and private sectors, indicating that the statistical content of the study and its data provide a comprehensive analysis of the reality of the supply and demand process for scientific disciplines at the level of the Kingdom and governorates, gender and academic qualification (university / comprehensive diploma), from Where the number of job applications in the Bureau’s inventory of all these specialties, and attached lists that include the most requested specialties in the civil service at the level of the Kingdom.

Al-Nasser explained that all the data on specializations and their classification were included in cooperation with the Unified Admission Unit in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, where they were classified as required, saturated and stagnant on the unified admission website, so that the specialization status appears directly in front of the applicant, in addition to updated statistics on the numbers of students currently enrolled. On study seats in universities and community colleges for each specialization, by referring to the data of the Higher Education Accreditation Commission and ensuring its quality, so that the student can easily and easily identify the expected volume of graduates during the coming period, which gives him a clearer picture of the reality of the various specializations, and the numbers of enrolled students can be viewed. Al-Nasser said during the meeting, that the analysis process for the annual supply side of the scientific disciplines submitted to the bureau, which increases at a rate ranging between 35 to 40,000 new job applications annually, constitutes about 50 percent of the total output of the annual educational output, which indicates that there are 40 scientific specializations, half of which are The bachelor holders and the other half of the Comprehensive Community College Diploma holders are considered the most intense and popular by students, and all of them are classified as stagnant and saturated and meet the needs of the local labor market for a period of no less than 10 to 15 years to come, indicating that the continuation of this flow is still the same approach and the general division of professions, especially professions Education, which constitutes about half of the annual graduates, as well as half of the Bureau’s stock, which indicates the lack of a real response in society to the importance of changing the prevailing culture towards technical and professional disciplines, and therefore the Bureau’s endeavors will continue in coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Higher Education Council and the Education Institutions Accreditation Authority and ensuring its quality in order to reduce its acceptance rates to the lowest level or to close them if their stagnation is found in the light of a time series.
