Today, Friday, 531 new cases of the emerging coronavirus were recorded in the Kingdom, bringing the total number of infections recorded in the Kingdom since the beginning of the pandemic to 775,782 cases, of which 12,345 are active cases, according to the daily media summary issued by the Ministry of Health.

The injuries were distributed as 198 cases in the capital Amman, 94 cases in Zarqa Governorate, 66 cases in Irbid, 13 cases in Karak Governorate, 23 cases were recorded in Ajloun, 23 cases in Mafraq, 10 cases in Jerash, 46 cases in Al-Balqa, and 9 cases In Aqaba Governorate, 14 cases in Madaba, 13 cases in Tafileh Governorate, 8 cases in Ma’an Governorate, 5 cases in Petra Province, and 9 cases in Ramtha District.

Today, 5 deaths affected by the virus were recorded in the Kingdom, bringing the total number of deaths affected by the virus in the Kingdom to 10105 cases.

On the other hand, the number of recovery cases for this day reached 285, while the total expected recovery cases (after the 14-day isolation period) reached 753,332 cases, and the number of hospital discharges for this day reached 91 cases.

With regard to the number of hospital admissions for today, it reached 82 cases, while the number of confirmed cases receiving treatment inside hospitals reached 590 cases.

According to the summary, the percentage of positive tests for today amounted to 3.28% of the total number of 16,168 examinations for today, bringing the total laboratory tests in the Kingdom to 861,685 examinations since the start of the pandemic.
