Today, Thursday, the Israeli occupation warplanes launched several raids on sites in southern Lebanon, at a time when the Lebanese borders witnessed tension during the past twenty-four hours.

And Hebrew media reported that for the first time in years, Israeli Air Force warplanes bombed Hezbollah sites near the border fence in southern Lebanon, in the Marjayoun area, in response to the firing of missiles yesterday, Wednesday, at the Kiryat Shmona settlement.

The Israeli army spokesman said in a statement: “Tonight, warplanes launched raids on the areas from which rockets were launched today from Lebanon towards Israeli territory, in addition to infrastructure used for terrorist purposes.”

The statement stated that the Israeli warplanes attacked another target in the area from which it had previously fired rockets towards “Israel.”

The occupation army warned that its raids “will continue and may escalate in the face of terrorist attempts against the State of Israel and its citizens.”

The occupation army held “the State of Lebanon responsible for what is happening inside its territory,” warning at the same time against “continuing attempts to attack the citizens of Israel and its sovereignty.” As he claimed.
