The Volleyball Federation’s System and Behavior Committee announced that it had taken punitive measures against the Al-Wehdat and Ayra clubs, by fining the two clubs for the damage caused by the fans of the two teams, after limiting the damage to the Sports Palace hall.
And according to a press statement by the federation, yesterday, it was decided to issue a final warning to the two clubs, due to the public issuing inappropriate “obscene” chants, and fining the two clubs an amount of 1,000 dinars each, due to the fans of the two clubs attacking each other, and it was also decided to hold the two teams’ matches with each other from Without fans, in addition to holding two matches for Al-Wehdat without fans, and holding 3 matches for Aira without fans.
It was also decided to suspend Al-Wehdat player Ahmed Khashan for 10 matches and a fine of 500 dinars, to be paid to the Volleyball Federation, for making a move that violated public modesty and attack during the match. Al-Wehdat coach Muhammad Noman 3 matches, and a fine of 150 dinars paid to the federation, for mentioning obscene phrases, while it was decided to suspend Ayra player Rashid Al-Alwan for 10 matches, and a fine of 500 dinars, to be paid to the federation, due to his destruction of the union’s equipment, the attack and his reckless behavior during the match. .
It was also decided, according to the monitoring of some publications on social media, by the assistant coach of Aira Saleh al-Alwan, offensive to the Jordanian volleyball arbitration, to prevent him from entering volleyball halls throughout the 2020/2021 season, while it was decided to send an alert to the president of the Aira club, Dr. Bashir al-Alwan. , for his objection to the appointment of referee Omar Ashour, through his presence on the main stage, and questioning the integrity of the arbitration, stressing that this matter will not be repeated, and objection through official channels in accordance with the regulations and instructions. It is noteworthy that the committee based its decisions on a number of articles of the internal regulations of the Football Association, considering the decisions subject to appeal.
Last Sunday, Al Wihdat FC won the Jordan Volleyball Cup title after defeating Aira Club 3-0.
