FIFA lifts ban on Hussein Irbid

Today, Thursday, the International Football Association “FIFA” lifted the penalty against Al-Hussein Irbid Club, which is to prevent it from registering new players.
FIFA had imposed a penalty on the club, for not paying the dues of former professionals in the Palestinian football team, Islam Batran and Ghanaian Michael.
The vice president of the temporary committee in the club, Mahmoud Al-Rashdan, said in a press statement today, that the club paid the dues of the professionals, which amount to about $10,000, as a result of which the penalty was lifted.
Al-Rashdan added that the correspondence received by the club from “FIFA” confirmed the possibility of registering new players in the coming hours, to strengthen the team’s ranks during the second leg of the professional league.
