Today, Monday, the Director of the Public Security Directorate, Major General Hussein Al-Hawatmeh, conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to all members of the Public Security Agency in various formations and units, and His Majesty’s pride in their efforts exerted in a framework of professionalism and respect for human beings.

Al-Hawatmeh stressed the need to continue working to implement the royal directives in developing the security service in a humane form that takes into account laws and legislation.

He also thanked all the officers and individuals for successfully implementing the security and traffic plan to facilitate the citizens, and to provide them with a safe environment and humanitarian services during the days of Eid Al-Adha.

Al-Hawatmeh stressed the need to follow up on the efforts made by Public Security since the beginning of dealing with the Corona pandemic to support national efforts in facing the epidemic, calling for the completion of the vaccination campaign for public security personnel to provide them with protection during the performance of duties.

He pointed out that laxity in maintaining ways to prevent the epidemic may lead to its re-spread, which requires cooperation to provide reasons for security and protection, which begins with the demand for the vaccine, and the application of defense orders, noting that the security and safety of society, the protection of lives, and the preservation of health. Public, are goals that the Public Security Directorate seeks to achieve without complacency or negligence.

Al-Hawatmeh stressed the need to enhance direct cooperation and coordination with ministries and relevant authorities, activate oversight mechanisms to ensure adherence to new directives and defense orders, motivate citizens to adhere to all procedures, and intensify awareness campaigns to contribute to protecting society.

He stressed the need to implement the law carefully and fairly, in light of the values ​​and principles inherited by generations through the course of the Jordanian state, directing leaders and managers to consolidate the values ​​of solidarity and cohesion, and to communicate with the people of society “they are our people, and they are the focus of the security process and humanitarian service, and they are partners in defending the security of the homeland And protect him.”

Al-Hawatmeh pointed to the importance of moving forward to consolidate the partnership that enhances the capacity of national institutions, pointing to the continuous integration and coordination that strengthened the ability of the valiant armed forces and security services to defend the security of the homeland under the wise Hashemite leadership.

At the end of the meeting, Al-Hawatmeh discussed with leaders and managers the most important measures taken to develop security and humanitarian work, ways to advance all duties and tasks, and qualify the human element and enable it to perform duties professionally and efficiently.
