Pilgrims flock to the Grand Mosque to perform the farewell circumambulation

Today, Thursday, the Grand Mosque received convoys of pilgrims who were in a hurry to perform the farewell circumambulation, after they threw the three Jamarat today, starting with Jamrah Al-Soghra, Al-Wusta, and then Jamrat Al-Aqaba.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque organized matters accurately and high precautionary measures, and applied physical distancing.
The Director of the General Administration of Crowds and Tafwij at the Grand Mosque, Engineer Osama bin Mansour Al-Hujaili, confirmed the success of the Tawaf Al-Ifadah plan, which came in two phases on the tenth and eleventh day of Dhul-Hijjah, indicating that the farewell circumambulation plan comes in two phases during the twelfth and thirteenth days. Preparing the floors of the courtyard and the exit of the ground and first floors, which are 25 lanes in the courtyard, 4 lanes on the ground floor, and 5 lanes on the first floor, and allocating lanes for people with special needs, according to the precautionary measures controls.
In addition, the Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, announced the success of the health plan for Hajj this year, and that it was free from outbreaks of the Corona virus and other epidemic diseases.
