The concerned authorities organized the entry of pilgrims to the Great Mosque of Mecca through specific doors for each regiment, according to a precise organization and arrangement in which the highest preventive measures and the application of physical distancing were taken into account, while performing the circumambulation around the Kaaba through virtual paths, which contributed to the flow and facilitation of the movement of crowds.

And the pilgrims flocked to the Holy House of God in Mina at dawn; They are cheerful and magnanimous, with joy and happiness in their hearts, after standing on Mount Arafat, “the greatest corner” of the pillars of Hajj, and then spending the night in Muzdalifah.

After the pilgrims arrived at the shrine of Mina, they began stoning Jamrat al-Aqaba, following the Sunnah of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.

The stoning of the Jamarat comes as a reminder of the enmity of Satan, who objected to the Prophet of God Abraham, peace be upon him, in these places, so they know his enmity and warn against him, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

After the pilgrims have finished stoning Jamarat al-Aqaba, it is prescribed for them to perform sacrificial acts on the day, where they sacrifice their sacrificial animals, then shave their heads, then circumambulate the ancient House and make sa’i between al-Safa and al-Marwah.

The pilgrims continue to complete their rituals, so they remain during the days of al-Tashreeq in Mina, remembering God a lot and thanking Him for having blessed them with the pilgrimage.

Sixty thousand Saudis and residents in Saudi Arabia participate in the rituals, compared to about 2.5 million Muslims who made the pilgrimage in 2019, where the participants were chosen from among 558,000 applicants according to an electronic audit system.
