Morocco decided to impose a quarantine on arrivals from France, Spain and Portugal, for a period of 10 days, with the exception of the two restaurants against the Corona virus, as of Tuesday.

The Moroccan Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Sunday evening, “These conditions will enter into force on Tuesday at 23:59 (22:59 GMT).”

And in the middle of last June, Morocco resumed round-trip flights after suspending them with more than 50 countries since February, as part of anti-Corona measures.

And the ministry explained that “the countries were classified into two lists, requiring that those coming from those included in the first (the European Union, the United States, Canada and other countries) have a certificate of vaccination or a negative result of a PCR test that goes back to less than 72 hours from the date of entering the country.”

And she added: “while those coming from the countries included in the second list (which includes 74 countries), are required to give a negative PCR test that goes back less than 72 hours from the date of entering Morocco, and then submit to a 10-day quarantine, and the vaccinated against Corona are exempted from quarantine.” .

On July 4, Morocco decided to add Egypt, Tunisia and Russia to the second list, while no country was added to the first list.

As of Sunday evening, Corona’s injuries in Morocco reached 542,462, including 9,369 deaths, and 524,826 cases of recovery, according to the latest official toll.

The number of people vaccinated against the virus reached 10 million and 358 thousand, out of about 36 million people, at a pace that is considered the fastest in Africa.
