The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities has circulated to hotels and tourist restaurants, the necessity of fully complying with all protocols and requirements of public health and safety when performing the daily work of the facility, or during the organization of any family or social event or celebration inside the facility.

In a letter sent today, Sunday, to the Association of Hotels and the Association of Tourist Restaurants to circulate to its members, the ministry confirmed that the most severe penalties will be taken against violating and non-compliant establishments.

The inspection and control teams of the Ministry intensified their inspection tours of tourist facilities, especially those that offer hookah, as the tours included all governorates of the Kingdom.

The ministry indicated that the legal requirement was taken against violators who did not abide by the preventive procedures, conditions and protocols established by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the Ministry of Labor, and who did not adhere to the guideline that it circulated.
